BMI Research is a market research company located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We have been appointed by the organisers of World Marketing Summit Malaysia 2013 (WMSM2013) to conduct surveys and we would like to take a few minutes of your time to answer some questions.

WMSM 2013 is giving the opportunity for teenagers from the ages of 13-17 to experience and learn new methods of re-thinking their habits to ensure environmental sustainability for their future. "Re-thinking Actions" focuses on MDG 7: Ensuring Environmental Sustainability which will encourage the young teens to ‘re-think their actions’ when it comes to making choices that would have an impact on the environment.

Selected 85 orphans from East and Peninsula Malaysia have kick-start Project 'Re-thinking Actions' on 25TH June 2013 by casting their votes on a nationwide survey to select the company with the best MDG7 initiative and now WMSM2013 further invites and empower YOU 13-17 years old teenagers nationwide as Judges on companies participating in this survey.
WMSM2013 further invites corporations that practices MDG7 to submit their CSR description if they wish to participate in this nationwide survey.

Submission date of CSR description: 13th August 2013

Commencement date of Survey: 16th August 2013

Closing date of Survey: 16th September 2013 (Malaysia Day)

Votes are tabulated during after closing date and announcement of the winner (with the most votes) will be made during Plenary Session of MDG7 of the World Marketing Summit Malaysia 2013 in Putrajaya International Convention Centre, September 28 – 30, 2013.
Selected teenagers would be invited to present the AWARD to the winning Corporation.

Project Re-thinking Actions Corporations CSR Programme

1. Maybank

The Malayan tiger is Maybank?s icon, so we feel an especially intense commitment to preserving this glorious and endangered big cat. 2011 is our second year of collaboration with the Malaysian Conservation Alliance for Tigers (MYCAT). Our RM1 million contribution over two years funds research into the effective conservation of wild tigers in Malaysia.

Harimau Malaya adalah icon Maybank, jadi kami berasa komitmen yang kuat untuk memelihara kucing besar yang gemilang dan terancam. 2011 adalah tahun kedua kami bekerjasama dengan Pakatan Pemuliharaan Harimau Malaysia(MYCAT). Sumbangan RM1juta kami selama dua tahun ke dalam dana penyelidikan untuk keberkesanan pemuliharaan harimau liar di Malaysia.

2. Coca-Cola

Sustainability has to be part of everything we do, in the areas of water, emissions, waste and recycling. People have to be part of everything we do, both in the communities we operate in and with our employees. Not just today, but tomorrow and in the future. Our goal is simple. We will try and give back as much as we take - or, where possible, more than we take. This is what we call Live Positively.

Kelestarian telah menjadi sebahagian daripada segala-galanya yang kita lakukan,dalam bidang air,pelepasan,sisa dan kitar semula. Rakyat perlu menjadi sebahagian daripada apa yang kita lakukan, kedua-duanya dalam masyarakat di mana kami beroperasi dan kakitangan kami. Bukan sahaja hari ini, tetapi esok dan pada masa hadapan. Matlamat kami adalah mudah. Kami akan cuba dan memberikan kembali seperti yang kita mengambil- atau, jika boleh, lebih daripada yang kita ambil. Ini adalah apa yang kita panggil Hidup Positif.

3. Green Technology

We have a comprehensive green technology learning program for every individual from children to adult. We conduct school program and eco-camp regularly to create awareness and impart green knowledge to the young in fun and interactive ways.

Kami mempunyai program pembelajaran teknologi hijau yang menyeluruh bagi setiap individu dari kanak-kanak kepada orang dewasa. Kami menjalankan program sekolah dan eko-kem tetap untuk mewujudkan kesedaran dan memberi pengetahuan hijau kepada golongan muda dengan cara yang menyeronokkan dan interaktif.

4. Badan Warisan

?Giving our past a future? is Badan Warisan Malaysia?s motto. Badan Warisan Malaysia (the Heritage of Malaysia Trust)is the leading heritage conservation NGO in Malaysia.It was set up in 1983 by a group people who were concerned about the rapid change taking place in the built environment. Our work involves advocacy, research and development and education. We also undertake physical conservation projects as well as manage two centres.

"Memberi masa lalu masa depan kita"adalah moto Badan Warisan Malaysia. Badan Warisan Malaysia (Heritage of Malaysia Trust) adalah NGO pemuliharaan warisan yang terkemuka di Malaysia. Ia ditubuhkan pada tahun 1983 oleh sekumpulan orang-orang yang mengambil berat tentang perubahan pesat yang sedang berlaku dalam persekitaran yang dibina. Kerjakami melibatkan sokongan, penyelidikan dan pembangunan dan pendidikan. Kami juga menjalankan projek pemuliharaan fizikal serta menguruskan dua pusat.

5. Tetrapak

Tetra Pak is a leader in providing innovative packaging and processing solutions to the food industry worldwide. We have a deep knowledge of the food industry and are committed to making food safe and available everywhere. Our products protect the nutritional value and taste of food. Recycling of our used packages is important to us as well as to most of our stakeholders. We set ourselves clear targets to continue increasing recycling worldwide. To support this, a number of initiatives are taking place in almost every country in which we do business.

Tetrapak adalah pemimpin dalam menyediakan pembungkusan dan pemprosesan penyelesaian inovatif untuk industri di seluruh dunia makanan. Kami mempunyai pengetahuan yang mendalam dalam industri makanan dan komited untuk membuat makanan yang selamat dan boleh didapati di mana-mana. Produk kami melindungi nilai pemakanandan rasa makanan. Kitar semula pakej kami digunakan adalah penting untuk kita serta kepada kebanyakan pihak yang berkepentingan. Kami tetapkan sasaran yang jelas untuk terus meningkatkan kitar semuladi seluruh dunia. Untuk menyokong usaha ini,beberapa inisiatif sedang berlaku di hampir setiap negara di mana kita menjalankan perniagaan.

6. Staedtler

STAEDTLER acts both ecologically and efficiently! We have adopted the ambitious standard of producing products that are not only especially environmentally compatible but, above all, also highly impressive thanks to their longevity and high user benefit. This perfect interaction is called ?efficient for ecology? by STAEDTLER. One example of how STAEDTLER combines these features is provided by WOPEX ? a brand-new material for the next generation of pencils which allows a significantly higher utilisation of wood per tree, is made using PEFC-certified wood from sustainably managed German forests and manufactured in a completely solvent-free production process and last but not least enables an up to twice as long writeout length compared to conventional pencils.

Kami telah menerima pakai standard yang tinggi untuk menghasilkan produk yang bukan sahaja alam sekitar terutamanya serasi tetapi, di atas semua, terima kasih juga sangat menarik untuk jangka hayat mereka dan manfaat pengguna yang tinggi. Ini interaksi sempurna dipanggil 'berkesan untuk ekologi' oleh STAEDTLER. 7. Panasonic

We are an organization that promotes Eco Learning for our younger generation. Firm believers in Education from the Start, we want to build a Malaysian community that loves and treasures the environment. We begin this Eco Learning Program designed to cater to children aged from 10 to 17 years, in 2005. These school-going children will experience hands-on education on preserving the environment. We want them to have a fun and vibrant learning environment with elements of Eco built into the syllabus.

Kita adalah sebuah organisasi yang menggalakkan Pembelajaran Eko untuk generasi muda kita. Orang yang beriman firma dalam bidang Pendidikan dari Mula, kita mahu membina sebuah masyarakat Malaysia yang suka dengan khazanah alam sekitar. Kita mulakan Program Pembelajaran Eco yang direka khasnya untuk kanak-kanak berumur dari 10 hingga 17 tahun, pada tahun 2005. Kanak-kanak yang masih bersekolah akan mengalami tangan mengenai pendidikan memelihara alam sekitar. Kami mahu mereka mempunyai suasana pembelajaran yang menyeronokkan dan bersemangat dengan unsur-unsur Eco dibina ke dalam sukatan pelajaran.

8. The Body Shop

The Body Shop has always done more than just furnishing its customers with beauty products. We continuously look for ways where we can make a difference and a positive impact in the world that we live in based on our five values. Here in West Malaysia, we have close personal relationships with various international and local NGOs since our founding here 28 years ago, such as WAO, Sisters in Islam, TRAFFIC, Tenaganita and the Malaysian Nature Society to name a few. We have worked closely with them via campaigns and in store initiatives such as our ?Kick the Bag Habit? and Dragon Fruit Lip Butter campaigns. Most recently together with the SPCA we have tabled a bill in parliament aimed at preventing and punishing animal cruelty. We also advocate Community Fair Trade, and our products are 100% vegetarian. This allows us to reduce our environmental footprint, help grow and reward the communities where we source our ingredients, and all while remaining cruelty free.

Kami terus mencari cara-cara di mana kita boleh membuat perubahan dan kesan yang positif dalam dunia yang kita hidup diberdasarkan nilai lima kami.Di Malaysia Barat,kita mempunyai hubungan peribadi rapat dengan pelbagai NGO antarabangsa dan tempatan sejak penubuhannya kami di sini 28 tahun yang lalu, seperti WAO,Sisters in Islam,TRAFIK,Tenaganitadan Persatuan Pencinta Alam Malaysia untuk menamakan beberapa. Kami telah bekerja rapat dengan mereka melalui kempen-kempen dan inisiatif dikedai seperti 'Kick Tabiat Bag' dan Buah Naga kempen Butter Lip kami.Baru-baru ini bersama-sama dengan SPCA kami telah membentangkan rang undang-undang di Parlimen yang bertujuan untuk mencegah dan menghukum kekejaman haiwan. Kami juga menyokong Komuniti Perdagangan Adil,dan produk kami adalah 100% vegetarian. Ini membolehkan kami untuk mengurangkan kesan alam sekitar,membantu mengembangkan dan memberi ganjaran kepada masyarakat di mana kami mendapatkan sumber bahan-bahan kami, dan segala kezaliman manakala selebihnya percuma.
